South Zone States Curling Meeting Successfully Held in Bengaluru on 6th May 2026

The South Zone States Curling Meeting was successfully conducted on 6th May 2026 at the Kadamba Business Centre, Bengaluru, marking another significant step towards strengthening the development of curling across South India. The meeting was organized under the visionary guidance of Dr. Rashmi Saluja, whose leadership continues to inspire the growth and transformation of the sport in India.




The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest – Dr. Anant Kumar Hegde – Former Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, six times Member of Parliament and Founder and Chairman of Kadamba Group and Advisor – CFI, Mr. P. N. Raju, whose valuable insights and encouragement added immense value to the gathering. The meeting also witnessed the participation of key representatives from various South Indian states, including Tamil Nadu President Mrs. Solai, Secretary Mr. Prasath, Telangana Secretary Mrs. Lakshmi, Karnataka Secretary Mr. Razak, along with Mr. Shubham Gupta, COO – CFI, whose active involvement contributed significantly to the success of the event.



During the meeting, important discussions were held regarding the expansion and promotion of curling across southern states, athlete participation, infrastructure development, and strengthening coordination among state units. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rashmi Saluja assured all members that the federation is fully committed to transforming the sport through transparent governance, fair conduct of sports activities, and professional management of federation operations in accordance with World Curling standards and guidelines. Her inspiring vision received strong appreciation and support from all attendees.



The meeting reflected a spirit of unity, dedication, and collective commitment towards building a stronger future for curling in India. Participants expressed gratitude to the Curling Federation of India leadership for providing this valuable platform to collaborate and work together for the advancement of the sport.
